Winter Warmer Workout

It can be hard to stay motivated with exercise over the winter months, when all you want to do is stay warm and cuddle your blankets inside. But just because it is freezing outside, doesn’t mean you can’t exercise in the comfort of your warm cosy house!

Below is a workout you can do in your own lounge room. You can even do it in your pyjamas if you want to. That’s the beauty of exercising at home! Once you get started though, you may want to turn the heating down. You’ll be sweating in next to no time!

Circuit 1: 4 rounds

20 body weight squats

 

10 push-ups

 

10 Body weight captains chair

 

Circuit 2: 4 rounds

20 body weight lunges (10 each side)

 

10 tricep dips

 

10 bicycle crunches

 

Circuit 3: 4 rounds

20 mountain climbers

 

10 body weight back-extensions

 

10 straight leg sit-ups
