Building Glorious Glutes

Your glutes are the strongest and largest muscle in your body. Developing your glutes isn’t just about making your butt look good in tight pants (that is also an advantage!), but having strong glutes helps in building athletic performance and decreases your risk of injuries.

When people ask me what exercise is the best to develop great glutes, I always say squats. Squats are number 1! But what other exercises are out there that help people get their glutes working better and stronger? Five of my favourites are below. Test them out for yourself!

1. Barbell Hip Thruster
